Mulan understands the challenges faced by parents and caregivers of children with special
needs, being a mother of two children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has tried many
different approaches to take care her children and even traveled to several countries to
find the best support for the children.
She learned that ABA is the most effective method for her children, but finding good ABA
therapy in Jakarta turned out to be very challenging. Ms. Mulan then decided to open a
therapy center in the hope of supporting other families and children with autism.
Ms. Mulan
obtained her Master’s in International Education Development from Teachers College, Columbia
University, New York City.
Ms. Felicia is an ardent supporter of inclusive education. She has been working in the
education world since 2011. Before joining JBC, Ms. Felicia taught and was a leader at The
Little Lamb Foundation and School, an inclusive preschool and kindergarten in West Jakarta
as well as being an elementary teacher in Papua.
In these two settings, she served children with various needs: from typically
developing,
gifted, Down syndrome, dyslexia, ASD, and other forms of developmental delays. Through JBC,
Ms. Felicia hopes that she may support children with needs to become a contributing member
of the global society.
Ms. Felicia obtained her Master's in Mind, Brain, and Education from Harvard Univeristy,
Cambridge, MA. She also has a Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education from
Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN.
Before joining JBC, Ms. Titik was a Special Needs Teacher at Sekolah Global Mandiri and
Rumah Belajar Tata, and a Learning Support Assistant at the Australian Independent School in
Jakarta.
She has a bachelor degree in Special Education from Jakarta State University.
Ms. Nitya has over 6 years of experience of working with children with Special
Needs.
Before joining JBC, Ms Nitya was a Special Needs Teacher at Step by step Centre for special
needs in Doha- Qatar and Special Teacher Assistant in ACG School Jakarta.
She earned double degree, Bachelor of Arts from University of Queensland in Australia, and
Bachelor of Psychology from University of Indonesia.

Before joining JBC, Andrea worked in the sustainable and ethical fashion industry as a
customer happiness specialist. Andrea’s interest in supporting marginal communities has also
pushed her to work as a volunteer teacher for refugee children in HELP for Refugee Center.
